# Run Schedules On-Demand This feature allows you to run existing schedules instantly from the "Start a Session" window. This is perfect for running you're custom [[Using the Pomodoro Technique|Pomodoro-method schedule]] or just multiple steps on demand. After enabling this feature in Settings, open the app from the menu bar and select **“Start a Session…”**. This will launch the Sessions On-Demand window. From the preset drop-down, hover over “Run a schedule…” to reveal all your existing schedules. Select the desired schedule, and when you're ready to run it, simply press **"Run schedule now".** ![[CleanShot 2026-07-21 at [email protected]]] If that schedule to slated to run later in the day you will be presented with the following prompt: ![[CleanShot 2026-07-21 at [email protected]]]You can now decide whether to run it as an additional session or replace the session scheduled for later in the day. Let’s say you have a brilliant idea for concluding your first chapter, but your writing schedule doesn’t begin until later that day. If you choose an additional session, you’ll run this session along with the original one at the regular scheduled time.
