# Creating a Site List Creating a Site List is almost the same as creating the App List. To begin, press the appropriate **“Edit”** button. ![[CleanShot 2026-07-16 at [email protected]]] --- ## Assigning Site List Type There are three App List types: **"Allow all unlisted sites"**, **"Block all unlisted sites"**, or "**Tint all unlisted sites."** Your choice determines the default behavior of all websites and which specific websites remain accessible during your session. Everything else is blocked until the session ends. ![[CleanShot 2026-07-16 at [email protected]]] ### Option 1: Allow all unlisted sites "**Allow all unlisted sites"**, allows all sites by default. Meaning, you need to add specific sites to your list that you want to block. ### Option 2: Block all unlisted sites **"Block all unlisted sites"** restricts all sites by default. Meaning, you need to add specific sites to your list that you want to allow. ### Option 3: Tint all unlisted sites "**Tint all unlisted sites**" tints all sites by default. Meaning, you need to add specific sites to your list that you want to allow without the tint. --- ## Adding Sites Once you've selected your Site List type, you're ready to build your list. ![[CleanShot 2026-07-16 at [email protected]]] Click **“Add Sites”** and then type or paste multiple domain names, separated by a comma, ``` example.com, example.edu, example.net, example.io ``` a space, ``` example.com example.edu example.net example.io ``` or a line return. ``` example.com example.edu example.net example.io ``` When you’re finished, click **“Save”** to save your list. To remove site(s) from the list, simply select it and click **"Remove"**. ![[CleanShot 2026-07-16 at [email protected]]] In the example above www.example.com will be blocked, while all other sites will be accessible during an active session. ## Adding Categories In addition to adding custom sites, categories are a quick way to block the most distracting websites. Each category is a curated list, so you can get started protecting your focus immediately. ![[CleanShot 2026-07-16 at [email protected]]] You can expand any category to view which sites it includes, and you can remove individual sites from the category to customize your blocking. ![[CleanShot 2026-07-16 at [email protected]]] --- ## Assigning Site Permissions Once site(s) are added to your list, you can assign their permission. Depending on the default behavior you're using, your site’s permission options will vary. | Site List Type | Site Permissions | | ------------------------ | ---------------- | | Allow all unlisted sites | Block or Tint | | Block all unlisted sites | Allow or Tint | | Tint all unlisted sites | Block or Allow | ![[CleanShot 2026-07-16 at [email protected]]] ### Block **"Block"** prevents access to the site until you complete the session. ![[CleanShot 2026-07-16 at [email protected]]] ### Tint **“Tint”** grants access to the site, but its visibility will be altered, making it somewhat unpleasant to look at.
