# FAQ
## What happens if I don’t finish a session?
The timer will pause if you go idle, which means you can't simply wait it out. If you do not finish the session, it remains active until you either complete it or cancel it. However, all sessions will automatically end at midnight, allowing you to start fresh each day.

## I accidentally forgot to enable the cancel policy. What now?
Use a [[Learn/Additional Features/Cancel All Sessions|Cancel Credit.]] If you’ve already burned through those, you'll have to type the [[Learn/Additional Features/Cancel All Sessions#Standard Cancel|cancel phrase 100 times]], or you know... put in the work. Either way, you’re typing, so you might as well make progress instead of writing the same sentence over and over like a lunatic;)

### The Creative Command icon isn’t showing up in my menu bar. What’s going on?
1. macOS might be hiding it due to space; try quitting other menu bar apps. If you have a crowded menu bar, a menubar manager like [Bartender](https://www.macbartender.com) or [Hidden Bar](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hidden-bar/id1452453066?mt=12) can help you manage the clutter.
2. Sometimes, you might accidentally drag an icon off the menu bar without even realizing it. To restore the icon, navigate to your Mac’s Settings and then go to “Menu Bar.” Scroll down to “![[CleanShot 2026-07-24 at
[email protected]]]Allow in the Menu Bar” and look for “Creative Command.” If it’s turned off, simply toggle it back on, and the icon should reappear in the menu bar.

### Why isn't Floating timer appearing with apps in full screen mode?
If you’re using an app in fullscreen mode, you’ll need to relaunch the floating timer from the menu bar so that it appears on top of your application.
